• One pound fresh asparagus
  • One lemon
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil

From personal experience, I can tell you that this recipe is one to try.  If you like asparagus, you will love THIS asparagus: sliced lemons (seasonal for December!) impart a wonderful citrusy hint to the already extremely tasty flavor of the cooked asparagus.  Super easy, and super fast, this recipe is great for any occasion!

Here’s what you do:

Thinly slice the lemon.  Arrange in one flat layer on a baking sheet.

Toss the asparagus with the olive oil until evenly coated.  Arrange asparagus over the lemon slices.  Sprinkle with salt.  Broil for approx 6 minutes (in our oven) or until asparagus spears
