• 1 pound whole green beans
  • Olive Oil
  • Lemon pepper, basil, lemon juice to taste
  • Sliced Almonds

Let’s be real. Thanksgiving Rocks. DUH. But when the options are turkey with gravy, mash potatoes with loads of butter, stuffing with even more butter…it is always nice to have a little healthy side dish: green beans with almonds and olive oil!

Rinse and cut the tops and bottoms off the green beans

Boil green beans for a hot second. Just till they are soft

In a saucepan pour oil,  basil, lemon pepper, lemon juice on pan and heat

Place beans in saucepan and cover with sauce

Heat for a while and garnish with sliced almonds
